Artist in Residence

SoM’s Outreach Program provides access to students with transportation barriers, by teaching in their schools in a four to six week Artist in Residence program. The Outreach Program also serves as a way to bring more awareness of our after school program to students across the lower mainland. Currently, we provide programming at six different schools across the GVA.

Young Music Makers (YMM) ISS for New Canadians

Working with the Immigrant Services Society of BC (ISS) SoM teaches singing, dancing and simple instruments to children three months to five years at ISS. Sing, move, dance, and explore simple instruments together in a friendly, safe space. This program is for children three months to five years old who are staying temporarily at ISS. Classes incorporate singing, movement, rhythm, and instrumental play in an informal mixed-age environment.
