Angela is a musician and songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta who began manifesting a reality as a performer from a young age by setting up audiences of stuffed animals to sing for. As a child Angela’s musical tastes ranged from Britney Spears to Metallica and as a teen she settled on the bass as her primary instrument after attending a Kool & The Gang concert and experiencing what she calls a “funk awakening.” Over a decade ago Angela founded her pop/R&B project called Mercy Funk, and continues to co-write and co-lead the band. She obtained her Bachelor of Music majoring in performance on the electric and upright bass from MacEwan University in 2022. She began teaching music in 2009 and Angela remains endlessly inspired and fulfilled by the hundreds of students she’s had the pleasure of working with.

Mainly rocking out on electric guitar and singing her heart out playing the songs she has written, Lindsey also loves belting out her favourite musical theatre tunes of the day. Lindsey trained in theatre performance as well as contemporary vocal performance (which is a fancy way of saying she likes to rock out). Lindsey's music has won various awards, as well as many nominations for her indie music project and the musicals she has written. When Lindsey isn't creating, sharing or performing music, you can find her gardening or getting up real early to go bird watching.
